Projects

The MASCOT project aims to provide an integrated multi-risk assessment procedure to increase safety in critical infrastructures, considering the correlation between different natural hazard induced risks (e.g. earthquakes and floods) and typical anthropogenic risks (e.g. road accidents/crashes). The focus is  on structures, road networks, coastal areas, and information systems. Through a comprehensive multi-hazard evaluation, our aim is to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate potential impacts, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
